forum2mail for VB (NOT mail2forum)

Hello All,

From what I understand, there are significant challenges (technical, security, etc) in creating a mail2forum hack. At the same time, it would seem less difficult to create a forum2mail hack.

The idea is to allow subs to select forum(s) from which they would receive the full text of all messages posted via email (either individually or as a daily digest). The mail would also contain a link back to the post should they want to reply. They would not be able to reply via email.

If WowBB can do this then it would seem that the world's leading bb system should also be able to!

No. You can only get a daily digest AND that does not include the full text of the messages. You can also ask to be notified when there is a reply to a posting but that only gives you the first reply but not subsequent ones.
