We use the general forum announcement module to have a nice block above the forums with directions on use and we love it.

What I would like to figure out is how to have an announcement like that for an individual forum. I did find the announcment feature but that creates a thread instead of a box above the forum.

Is there such a hack to have individual announcement blocks displayed obove each forum like the general one?
