Mod to Zero-Tolerance's Mass PM...

I need a mod for Zero-Tolerance's Mass PM hack. I want to be able to send a PM to everyone with zero posts, encouraging them to post an intro.

Your using Zero Tolerance Mass mod right?

I would just add a pre option page

PRE OPTION PAGE

select box.....
option send pm to all members
option send pm to all 0 posters
option send pm to all posters who have not posted in 30 days, but have logged in!
more options...

This way you load the option into the form, telling the form what to build!

example...

say you have 100 users, but out of them 100 users 10 have not posted, so if they are in group (4) you know to only load the group (4) option! your already doing a query so why not do the query based on exactly what you want instead of loading all the groups that may not even have any users anyways! The more logic you put in your design the more resource friendly your service is, which will help greatly the bigger your services gets!

If you want to go the pre loading option route, just tell me and I will post how to do it!!!

That mod I get a white screen. so do a few other users. No one told me a fix for it though.

Check back tonight, I will have it done, all you will need to do is replace the 'admin_pmall.php' file, I am just going to update that file to add the extended options!

unlikely as it works for me, and if it works for me it works for other people, and it would be assumed that you're problem is because of the way you installed it.

how long have you have the hack installed? One thing that is odd about vb is the godish power here. It can be a user knows what they are talking about.

The hack was working. The issue is over time the hack stops working. It could be due to usergroups or reputations. I dont know. But it must be one.
