VbStats and login outside of vb Help

Hello I have created a page for my site.... ( just a normal php page ) and In the one catagorie I want to display the VBulliten stats ( Member: ##, Total Posts: #### etc ).

And also on my page I would like to include the ablility to log into the vb from that page and for it to even say like welcome and their name on the webpage... but I am not sure what coding to use to link it and make it work any and all help would be greatful.

yeah be rude dude theynever answer these kinds of question other then to pitch their own software like VB Advanced or whatever its bull++++ if you ask me all they will tell you is include the global.hp file but all taht doesis handle login and user handing ++++ no offense but these people are supposed to be here to help us and answer our questions and almost ALL these questions of this nature go ignored to me tahts plain bull++++

where here does it say we are REQUIRED to help you this site is not affiliated with the license agreement that you signed (at least i believe not) so when you paid for vbulletin to get support, you get support from vbulletin.com guaranteed support, you are not guaranteed support here.

but if you find a place that says we are required to help you then by all means show me.

It's not that people are required to. When I first started with VB people were more than helpful with situations and problems to help others. When someone makes a request for a potential new hack to help out the ideas that make this the best forum site out there. In the past people were more than happy to oblige and see a new hack come into play.

Lately now what I see besides the few that offer their talents is most guys will not budge unless you go to them and throw money at them. I am having to start doing this now and simply I find this pathetic. There was a donation system where a person shows off thier hack and if people feel it is worthy and wish to donate they can. Now is pay first then I will create something.

I guess that is one way to look at it. We all lead differnt lives. And we all have or are going through the motions. But this board was never set up to begin with so people can horde their wares.

For myself, I have had VB for a long time now and I have come to this and the other board often to read some very talented stuff and I know people put som e long hours into some of the work you see here. So I don't mind donating to a good cause. Infact I would be shocked if someone doesn't make more money by people donating to their talent than jsut one person paying for a finsihed product and the rest off the comunity suffers by not being able to try their hack out.

Just my 2 cents.

I wish to think for a better VB as a whole. Not jsut for a single user at a time.

BTW my hats off to those that help the greater good.

i am helping the greater good paying for medical school in a few years so i can save people's lives :P

but anywho i don't really make hacks for vbulletin i just try and help out when people have errors, my main is web design and such

Well thenyou should tell VB.COM not to send us here for help if since you arent required to help tat you wont also if it is not included int he license then DONT MAKe USERS HAVE TO HAVE A LICENSE TO BROWSE THE FORUM.. Frankly i dont see anyone here that helps anymore besudes the USERS themselves. and then its only cause they wnt money this place is a joke its no wonder you people lose so many customers to ipb or smf. Reguardless im making a a REPLACEMENT for VB .org where i myself will voulenteer my programming knowledge since you people feel taht because your not REQUIRED To help you refuse to ten fine frankly you can all go screw yourelves ANYONE Who wants help can im email or pm me and i will give them all the help they need FREE OF Charge.

and as for our medical school statement it has NOTHinG to do with programming so dont bring it up frankly i think doctors are as bad a lawyers if not worse since you arent doing to to SAVE LIVES your doing it for money as well I happen to be a paramedic i know full well what the woprld of medicine is all about. here is a thought if you want to pay for medical school go get a REAL job dont exploit people to further your career

well thats funny eva tere are tousands upon thousands of med school students that have jobs.even still none of this is relevant.

here here, well done quadroplex I wish I had as big of balls to say that as you just did (just without the swearing, show some respect). otherwise I agree 100%.

I have been paying for two VB licenses for the past three years faithfully and I am starting to see this forum become worse off and some of my other friends are now stopping their license subscription and useing other alternatives to VB simply because of this.

I am sure this will get worse before it gets better. I just hope the admins of this site can bring it to a decent help level as to what it was before.

And eva? Nice to know your improving your lifestyle but honestly I don't care why or what you do to make your money. That is your problem. Mine is to make my members a better place to talk and have fun by improving their chat boards. With spending the least amount of extra money that I can possibly afford.
