I would like to install one of those hacks you guys made but I can't for two reasons:

They don't offer all that I want and Ron1n hasnt even responded to my suggestions
You two keep fighting over this stupid crap.

First of all, the user has every right to let others know that your code is server intensive. I looked at your code and his, and you do run queries in loops which is a very bad thing. The way your script is coded the more items it loads the more server load it will cause. It seems to me that you are a newbie to writting php and you were offened when someone pointed out newbie misteaks in your script.

Begin a newbie is not a bad thing, infact we all started at that point, this is a learning experance and if you get offened at everyone that points out errors in your coding you will learn nothing.

The user did not just point out errors in your code, he offered to help you fix your code and show you how to do it correctly. At that point you insulted him because you thought he copied your hack. (btw note that the post I refer to was deleted by the author).

Infact he did not copy your hack, he released something very similar yes, but his code and your code are not the same. It is obvious that you both coded your hacks from scratch, or at least you two did not copy each other. So your point on coping is moot.

My advice to you is to seek some coding help in the forums here, this is why they are here. More people will use your hack if it won't kill their server. I'll be honest with you if someone approched me this moment and asked me what I thought about your hack I would tell them not to install it. The idea is not bad and it has nothing to do with you personaly, I just can't have my clients running something that would fry their server.

Now this dose not mean the other user Ron1n is god's gift to the vB hacking world. I agree with you he got a bit out of hand in your hacks thread but I do understand why he did. If you offered to help someone with something and they insulted you then accused you of coping their work when you did not I'm sure you would get a little angry to.

My advice to you both is to take it to a private area if you wish to disscuss this issue further. If you can not get along with each other try to avoid each others posts/threads in the forums. And if it comes to it use the ignore feature and all posts from that user will be filtered from any threads you read.
