Host changing servers. Should I be concerned?
My host recently contacted me and told me that they would be switching servers. This is fine, because we all think that we will get better service in the end.
My question is should I be concerned with anything in particular? I mean, what all should I back up? SQL, files, etc? and is it possible to completely restore a message board should they screw it up (I don't think that they will, I just want to be prepared if something does happen). Have any of you had server change-over nightmares? |

i'm on thefuse with you... my server change was no big deal at all. they said they would back everything up and reload it and they did... i am hosted by startlogic. just make a full database backup... |

HA! Small world. Okay, thx.
Still wondering if a board can be 100% restored in the event of a screw up. |
