Default Most Arbitrary Forum?

Where have you gone and just though to yourself, `Man, I hate the staff here!` or `Why did they lock that topic?`

In my experience, the worst place is the lounge at www.animeacademy.com

They do not like people reviving `old` topics, they lock topics because `the conversation is over` (then why are people still posting?), and they don`t like duplicate topics, which is a recipe for disaster when combined with the first policy I mentioned.

They realised they were being arbitrary over a year ago, but this was after being arbitrary for about 18 months, which drove away nice people who were on the boards.

So, what was your worst experience on a message board?

I have to agree with them closing old threads. It's really annoying when people bump up topics from so long ago, convo is over, and it ends up with people replying just complaining about the bump. Closing saves all those useless posts from ever happening.

Well, that's the way I see it.

I think this belongs in the Lounge.
