Children and Parents
Hey all, I'm a little frustrated that I can't solve this.
I have children of a forum called Parent. the children are called Children and the sub foruims are called Sub Children My problem is that Sub CHildren are being displayed with the Children forums. It's driving me crazy! How do I specify that I want them only to be viewed when you click Children! I don't know if I'm being clear so picture it this way: Parent --Children1 --Children2 ----Sub CHildren1 ----SubChildren2 --Sub Children1 --Sub Children2 (Sub Children are nested under Children AND displayed under parent!????) |

most likely would require some sort of hierarchial data storeage, see sitepoint.com for an article on storing hierarchial data in mysql

I took a look around stiepoint, but found nothing. Wouldn't this be a setting in the Admin CP? Can't it just be MY fault?
There must be someway to configure the display hierarchy of forums. I had this problem before when making changes, but I never solved it. I'm pretty sure it's vBulletin or a configuration setting that needs to be changed, but I don't know where to find it... |
