Chmod 0777
Hi,
I'm new with vB and MySQL and you name it...... But I managed to install vB and some hacks too and it works perfectly! But now I want to install ibProArcade and in the instructions file it says that I should do the following: "Next Chmod the /arcade/ directory and all its subfolders to 0777" What does that mean? I know this is a stupid question but nothing is easy if you don't know how to do. Thank you Niklas |

To chmod means to set permissions for a file or folder. You should be able to do this with your FTP programm... try right clicking on the file or folder you want to chmod and look for an appropriate option.
If you don't find anything, tell us what FTP client you use |

thank you for that quick answer!
I use Ipswitch WS_FTP Home I found something when I right clicked a folder but I'm not sure if it's what I'm looking for.... It says: Numeric Value (and after that there's a small box, with 755 in it) any ideas? Thank you Niklas |

I don't use WS_FTP, but that is probably it, since 755 is an example of a chmod permission.
