perhaps there's something like this out there already... but it would be nice if there was a setting for admins to have the option to view all posts on one page.

i realize i could set a HUGE number in the ACP... but then all members would have that option. and i'm guessing that would be a strain on the DB.

what would be better is if i could set a HUGE number in the ACP... but have it be a number that ONLY admins could select. perhaps the same type of global setting there is now... but one that's usergroup resident and dependant.

might this be possible? anyone interested?

Do you realize how useless a feature like this would be for the larger boards that, at peak, handle 200+ posts / hour? Might work for smaller boards I suppose... But many boards simply have way too much traffic for anyone to even try to see all the posts in one page.

i think you may have misunderstood... although i wouldn't agrue that it would be a hack suitable for all boards just as i wouldn't argue that any hack posted here is suitable for all boards.

i'm not looking for a hack that'll show ALL posts made in X hours or whatever... i'm refering to a specific thread. so that the admin can view all posts in a specific thread on one page. and again... this isn't for every user... this would be for admins only.

at any rate... looks like no one is interested in creating so it's a mute point anyway.
