lol I released my 2 first hacks a while ago, it's just minor hacks but I know I'll try bigger ones ^^.

btw, why do you need them to click install ? if they need it they'll sure click *confused*

When I first started using vB.org I never clicked install, the same went on vBT. then about 4 months into using the site Daniel P explained to me what the install button was all about. Since then I'm a regular clicker of it, sometimes to install, others to uninstall, depending on the setup that I'm implementing. I have clicked install for hacks that I don't run on my own site because I have installed them on someone elses site and so I make sure I get the updates then I can keep updated with them.

Since the hack thread clearly explains to 'please click install if you install', it sounds more like you're begging people here. :cross-eyed:

Then you have got it wrong. The *hint hint* was tongue in cheek.

Basically I'm using this one as a gauge to see how hacks by new coders are recieved. If it's recieved well and gets a few installs (I'm expecting to get at least 10 for it just from comments that I've seen around the site in the last two weeks), then I most probably will release more. If it isn't well recieved then I'll keep my hacks collection private.

I didn't feel the need to use a smilie in the post I've quoted as I didn't percieve anyone percieving that I'd be begging for anything. If I wanted to inflate my installs I'd just register a few usernames and click install using all of them. Now that's against the rules and I don't advise anyone to do that.

Anyway take the above with a pinch of salt and relax. After all it's Wednesday
