Hi Guys,
Logging in via http://www.example.com/forum/login doesn't work on my forum. I'm using vb 3.0.3 and vbadvanced. Is this a common problem ? Is there a fix for this (haven't found one yet on vb.org) ? Getthat |

People can't help you if you just say "logging in doesn't work". You need to give some more information...

OK rake. Like I said, I'm using vb 3.0.3 and vbadvanced. Login via the vbadvanced welcome block works. I've also setup some pages for members-only. When I'm not logged in and I go to these pages I get the same URL but with a different content (i.e. the login screen). When I enter my username and password and click on 'Log in' nothing happens, except that I am forwarded to the url http://www.example.com/forum/login. That's all the information I can give you right now. Do you need some other details ?
Thx for helping again rake. Getthat |

How did you generate that login screen? was it using print_no_permission()? Can you attach the html source of the login screen?

Hi Rake,
It's standard vbadvanced stuff. I configured some modules that they are only available to registered members. I will pm you the html source of forum/login. Flixxx |

if it's related to vbadvanced, why not go directly to their site, because they are the one to be able to help: http://vbadvanced.com

Hi,
If someone has the same problem as me ... the solution can be found here : http://vbadvanced.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2048. It was indeed the extension .php which was missing in a certain file. Thx guys for helping me out. Getthat |

The General Modification Discussion forum is for discussion on the making of vBulletin modifications or existing one's. If you have a support query for vBadvanced you should do so in the support thread. For now I'll move this to General vBulletin Questions. Thankyou
