moderator comment to the thread

I am looking for hack, that allow to make comments and/or answers on questetion which started a thread.
I suppose it could be second tree(branch) of the thread so to make possible to comment this "answer".
It is usefull for those who wants to have immediate answer instead of diging through the entire thread.
Again... something like answer or conclusion of the question (thread) that started the thread....
Is there something already like this? I didn't find anything yet.

with vb's threaded mode, that's possible already?

Not really, i want something like summing-up, and if somebody is interested only in summing-up text he should see it somehow easier than threaded mode (in which you can not recognize which one is summing-up reply you might be looking for...)
I suppose it can be something like you have a button in the very first post and new window will have be opened...

maybe i should give an example...

- thread is started with some problem that other posters are trying to solve, but there is a big discussion and mostly every one of them bring a part of the solution. So, sometime the thread is too long to read and I want to have some final reply to the very first question.... but I don't want to close this thread and I also want to enable to have comments to this "final answer", which should be something like new thread / to not mix all of this together/
