want to move members over
Hi, i have a forum now, and i want to install a new forum, and move all members over from the old one. Im not concerned about groups and anything else. Ive tried it one and seemed to work, but my forum stats were all messed up, it wasnt showing the right amount of members. I updated stats in the admin section, and things like that, but still nothing.
What would be the proper way to do this? |

ive never done it myself but as far as i know, aslong as you dont edit the config.php file then you should keep your members, thats to my knowledge anyway,i think thats where all that kind of info gets stored.
but i honestly couldnt say thats 100% true im afraid... best double checking with sum1 else first |

well, the thing is, the only thing i want to keep is the members, no forums, no settings etc.

which part of the stats did you rebuild? There's a bunch of them.
I would say either "Rebuild Forum Information" or "Rebuild Statistics" would do it. |
