I know this is not an easy hack, and I doubt anyone would take this hack on but I think alot of people would apperciate it.. so here it is.

I have pages that I would like to be searched but, the search only searches the forum, well that does me no good. So I thought what if some one made an addon to the hack vBadvanced CMPS, and create a new search page where it will search all templates with the prefix 'adv_portal'

I would like to know what the hackers think of this.. and if anyone of them would be interested in doing this..

Hmm ... shouldn't be that difficult.

- Create a new search table that just holds the text of your templates which should be searchable (could be done automatically if added to ACP)
- The table must also have a column for the title of the templates
- Create a fulltext index for text-column in this table
- Write a module that searches this table and displays links to the pages it found, maybe with a little excerpt of the text (that would be a bit more difficult)

Do you think you could possibly do this, or help me out in making this hack? I would really appericate it if you could!

ehh..

well I understand... you have your own things to do, and you have to have priorites, but if anyone else would either want to do this hack, or maybe just take me under there wing and show me how I'd apperciate it!
