I have a website which uses a single log-in session and had vB integrated to it by a developer.
While troubleshooting something I must've changed some of the settings as the vB registration screen comes up even if the registered user is logged in to the main site. The username is displayed at the bottom correctly as a "member currently online", however, no "Welcome, user" is displayed; additionally, when I try to start a new thread, the registration screen appears. It seems that in some level of the site the user is recognized, but not when they try to reply-to or start a new thread. Is this a simple matter of changing permissions? I checked and they are all set to default. |

I think I may have narrowed down the problem.
Since the usernames are showing up at the bottom of the forum, the session seems to be fine -- it's just that the users don't seem to be auto-logged-in. Could this be that some sort of "auto log-in" setting has been disabled? Is there such a thing that I can toggle in the acp? |
