If you are looking to change this behaviour in vBulletin, there are three applicable settings:
Administrative: Change the default thread cutoff for a forum via the Admin Control Panel :: Forums & Moderators :: Forum Manager :: Some Forum :: Default View Age.User option: A user can set their own "Default Thread Age Cut Off" in the User Control Panel.One-time display: When viewing a forum listing (i.e., the thread titles), you can change the default date cutoff, toward the bottom of the page under "Display Options". |

[sql]UPDATE forum
SET daysprune = -1 [/sql] This will change the setting of every forum to show all the threads (unless you have overrided it with a profile option). You may have to edit and save a forum (no need to make any edits) for the changes to take effect. |

Tell me the date you want to set their join date too and the userid and i'll write you a quick PHP script to run to sort it out
