Hello, i am trying to import my current phpbb users to my newly purchased vBulletin 3.0.1. I downloaded the import scripts from the members area and now i need to know where to put the script in my ftp and what link in the admin cp.

Import And Maintenance:

Database Backup
Repair / Optimize Tables
Update Counters
Diagnostics
Execute SQL Query
View PHP info

can anyone help me?

can anyone help me?
hmmm.....I think you put the script in your forums root directory. From their type in something like. www.yourdomain.com/installer or the filename.php It should then bring up a screen and import everything. Import and maint. in the admin cp doesn't have anything to do with it I don't think *scratches head* Not sure its been a while since I imported my PHPBB board.

i got this error: Fatal error: Class phpbb2_012: Cannot inherit from undefined class phpbb2_000 in /www/tupacaveli/board/importer/importer.php on line 23

*BUMP* its been 24 hours. please can anyone help me, ive spent alot of money on this and i cant even use it. my forum has been down for a week now. please

have you posted this at vbulletin.com?

you are far more likely to get the answer you are looking for over there.. this site is mainly dedicated towards an already up and running vB install.. I have never used any other forum system or I would try and help a bit more.. were there any instructions with the importer?

They should be uploaded to the /forum directory in a folder named /impex.
