Yes, sir, I did. Bear Facts and later Bear Facts II. I was a member of FidoNet which actually started about 10 miles from me. I ran Spitfire BBS (which was born about 15 miles from me). I knew Mike Woltz (the author of Spitfire) very well.
I even started my own message net, XeroNet. Didn't do very well, but it was a blast anyway. I really miss those days. Do you remember FrontDoor?

It was a bit before my time, but in the early 90's I was dailing up to a few bbs's, wasent to savy back then so I never became a big member of any bbs, but they sure where cool.

We started out on a 300 Baud modem and graduated up to 2400 Baud. Then U.S. Robotics came out with their screaming 9600 baud modem and we were in heaven. You guys today have no idea what a slow modem is like.
