Default vB auction?
I would like to see an auction that could be incorporated into the site - where a user could post something up for bid, and other users could bid on it.

Would like to see a way to let unregistered guests bid too, but you must be a registered member to put something up for auction.

As for payment options, i dont know, my brain spins - but if a user could somehow tie their paypal account to their username that would be pretty cool.

Yes, i know we can always use ebay, but it would be nice to have something right on the site, and users wouldnt get distracted by all the other things available at ebay...

hmmm... Im looking for something similar to http://www.Ebay.com as well as http://www.nintari.net

Similar to this hack - yet with comments after the sale as well as a default list of items

I'm definetly looking for something alike as well; but vbauction is a bit on the expensive side... is there a free alternative?

I don't think I have that much sitting around; if it was like 50 or 60 I would've considered; but 120... I'll pass... After all, we're purchasing an addon; not a new license.

It really isn't cheap, but you can't compare it with a new license!

Jelsoft can keep there price so low, because they have so many customers. For a custom piece of coding, prices can also go as high as this, simply because that's the price for the amount of work that's behind it.
Or would you work for 3$ an hour?
