Retaining session for sub-domains?
I've recently set up sub-domains for areas on my site.
e.g. http://forums.mysite.com But, if I was logged in http://www.mysite.com/forums, it would require me to relog in for the same location @ sub-domain. :speechless: Curious, are there any work arounds for this (other than having to log in @ the sub-domain) |

Actually, that doesn't bother me too much.
What sort of does is http://www.mysite.com/irc would point to my IRC applet page, which includes global.php. I have a subdomain for this at http://irc.mysite.com. If I was logged in for http://www.mysite.com/forums/ and went to http://www.mysite.com/irc, it would retain my being logged in. If I was logged in http://forums.mysite.com, and went to http://irc.mysite.com, it wouldn't see me as logged in. :ermm: Sort of a bugger, but I guess that's how browsers interpet it. |
