What would you do?
What would you do if you suspected that users of your board in some way had access to read in the "adminforum"? When a group of users seem to know more than they should. By guessing or, even worse, loaning a moderators password or in another way.
Let's say it's only a "gut-feeling" because of comments made when there have been conflicts with some users. Let's say they refer to things they weren't supposed to know. You've chosen moderators carefully and have no reason not to trust them, but still.. How would you handle it? Would you use any hacks that could help you find out for sure? What kind of hacks. |

to be honest the best place for questions like this would be www.theadminzone.com it's not run by jelsoft but it's a great resource for admins.

a quick fix would be install the who viewed this thread hack and make it so it's for admins only and then you could track who read a thread and see if their using a mods account or their own.

Thank you for the link and the hack-suggestion.

I implemented IP-locking on my moderators. Moderators can only login from an IP listed in their IP pool. I had this same problem, it's solved now.
