ebay style auction system..

I started thinking, you know how awsome it would be to have an ebay style auction system? Where you could ask the seller a question, they could have an about me page, they could even have feedback.. Proxy bidding, Buy It Now, pictures, and even threaded comments maybe. A nice search system.. Pretty much an enanced version of ebay made for vbulletin. Could set prices per auction, and charge for bold or front page listings or w/e just like ebay. Could set different pricing for different usergroups. For instance, usergroup "Registered" = 2.50 to list a 1000.00 item, and then 3.2% of ending price. But for usergroup "Administrator" it costs 0.00 to list and then 0.0% ending price. So that away if you had subscribing members on your site you coudl give them a discount on listing auctions and such, maybe give them free bold listings too or something.

Well trafix is making one for vB3, called vBTrader. It's a commercial hack though, costing I believe $100.

Heh, good luck in trying to find this hack... I've seen several sites that have it up and running, it looks great. However, the hack author is NOWHERE to be found. People say it's not the first time that he's fallen off the face of the planet either... I've been trying to get this hack for the past month with no luck. His "new support forums" have not had a post, except from me, in the past few months.... It's a lost cause unless someone else picks up the hack. Tis a shame... His hack looked gread on all the sites that I found while searching for the hack.

Yeah, been there done that.... I've emailed Trafix about 4 times now and PMd via different sites where he's talking about his hack. Still not a single reply...

If anyone has information as to where I can find this hack, please let me know. I'm looking for the vb3 version. I've had several people send me their 2.x.x version, because they all know how his lack of support or caring about his hack is.

Instead of making silly insulting statements like that .... try providing some more anilitical feedback about why you dont like the VB Trader ......
