won't allow me to change thread title

Hi,

For some reason, I can't change the thread titles when someone messes up and wants it changed. It changes in the box, but doesn't appear the way I corrected it.... why doesn't it change it?

u need to edit thread in thread tools menu

I did that. the thread still shows the incorrect title.
