Fill username column in posts table
Hey everyone
Just got all of our phpbb data imported into vb2 and then upgraded to vb3 rc4. Everything went fine except that the username column is blank in the 'post' table, therefore making all posts by 'Guest.' The userid column is filled correctly however. Can someone tell me what the SQL query would be to check the user table, get the username, and then update it in the post table? Thank you! |

Sorry... this thread could've really been placed elsewhere. I guess I'm just in a rush to get the site back up and running that I didn't take the additional second to put this thread in a better location.

I was just checking something... the userid's that are filled in the post column do not exist in the user column. Where could they have possible come from?
When everything was imported into vb2, it worked perfect. It wasn't until we ran the upgrade script to vb3 rc4 that we lost the post's username info. |
