Question about Attachments
I am new to vbulletin, I recently switched from phpbb2. I was wondering if there is a way to make it so only registered members of my forum can see the attachments in posts? This may be a stupid question, but i am a vbb newbie.
Thanks. |

No shame in being a newbie. I am too.
GO to your user groups > usergroup manager Each group has setting you can edit as to what they can see and cant see. You can customize every group as you like. |

No such thing as a stupid question. I learn things here every week from reading responses to stuff and I have been running a (heavily) hacked vB since fall 2001.
Welcome to vB, BTW -- I hope you enjoy the software as much as we do! Your 'unregistered' groups will be unregistered/not logged in, awaiting confirmation and awaiting moderation (unless you changed their names -- they are groups #1, #3 and #4). Those are the groups who are not considered 'registered', so anything you want to limit from them, limit on all 3. |

Thank you both for your help, and thanks for the warm welcome.
..and yes, I sure do enjoy vBB, much better than my old phpbb2 board! :devious: Thanks again, Tyler |
