Forum ID's
How can i change them? In the default installation the forum is created with an id of 2, is there a way to change it to 1, and make all further created forums have serial ID's?
Another question, how can I change the width of my forums? Default is too narrow, imho, i want to expand them a bit. The last post info takes three lines, the column is too narrow, so the info takes up three lines, and looks rather ugly. Is there a way no widen the Last Post column? |

forumID's.. not sure.. think you can edit the DB for that purpose..
forum too narrow.. go to style manager, select all style options, i believe it is, for your style, and down in there somewhere you will see it set at 700 pixels or something.. change it to 100% last post colum.. style manager, edit templates, forum home templates, FORUMHOME - you will see 4 to 6 lines of code.. one of them contains infor on each of the colums.. the one with something like "$vboptions[lastpost]" ro close to that, change the width of the <td> tag.. i did that lastnight.. i would be very specific, but i am at work, and browsing my forums or adminCP to make changes is kind of a no no.. but coming here ain't.. go figure.. |

Thanks for the first hint, worked great.
The secont one with the Last Post column - i've found that line in FORUMHOME: <td class="thead" width="175">$vbphrase[last_post]</td> but changing the width did not do anything |

I found only one place in FORUMHOME with <td class="thead" width="175">$vbphrase[last_post]</td> :surprised:
Are the other 3 in different templates? Which ones? |
