Portal Question
So I'm currently in the process of redesigning my website, and would like to incorporate vBulletin into it a little more than it was previously. With the llast design I had the last 10 posts, the number of users online, and number of users registered. I would like to have that, as well as have the users be able to log in, and be notified of a new PM. Should I look into a portal hack or look for separate hacks for these few features?
What is the best portal and why is my basic question. Are the portals able to be edited, as far as the style, or does it have to stay the same boring blocks? Thanks for your help. I am running vB3.0.0 RC4 |

I'm currently building a portal that will allow you to have ONLY the modules of your choice (newsposts, last 10 threads, users online, pm+login box, etc. etc.).
It's not finished though, but it's gonna be nice ^_^ If you really want it now, you're limited to either vBIndex or vBAdvanced, the two portals out there atm. They are both customizable as (AFAIK) they are both 100% templated, so you can customize those as you would your vB itself. |
