I have a custom made mainpage that I would like to just show lone forums posts like in the VB portal pages, the thing is I don't want to use the portal.

I only need to show one forum on the mainpage, I already use Last X Posts v1.0.2. it shows recent posts.

I have tried searching but could not find what I was looking for..

But why is it in Major Additions? I've looked it over and shouldn't it be more of a semi portal?

well it is not a portal and if it resided in portal section, someone would say why is it in portal section although it is not a portal

As a matter of fact all you should do is to search "news" in titles of full releases forum
