Somebody show me a reliable statistics article that details how beneficiary "Top #" sites are. Those sites are bloody everywhere, and equally annoying as spam. :\

To me, webmasters should put more focus on getting listed for Google. eCommerce sites, for example, don't rely on "Top 100" sites, they're more focused on just Googlizing.
