Have been using it over a year without any update, yet..... which makes the inevitable upgrade a really big project (along with vB and vbP someday).
Our system admin upgraded our server to php 4.3.3 last week and that blew out the whole gallery. If this happens to anyone else waiting to upgrade your program, you can fix that by going into your php.ini file and disabling output buffering.
IMO, if they have to release a new version that often, they should actually fix whatever it is they are trying to, and release a proper fixed version once, then work on another version with more features

New versions are not necessarily "fixes" but rather contain new code and new features. We release these new features fairly frequently because that's what our customers want - upgrading is always optional.
PP is a great product, I only upgrade when a new version has some thing I want or I have time. The version I am currently running is almost 2 releases behind and is still aweome. My Gallery has over 67,000 photos and runs like a champ.
