I was just having a nice glass of red wine and thinking about some new features for my board. Had the following (great?) idea:

Would be great (on some boards) to have a little countryflag as a threadicon. They could be chosen same way like countryflaghack and the flags also could come out of countryflaghack database (or are they to big?)... Just an idea...

Does anybody like it or have an easy way to realize it?

Your new thread screen would be a mess if you applied such a hack, because there are a lot of countries (thus flags, thus thread icons)..

I suggest applying country flags hack instead which allows your users to choose their countries and the flag is displayed in the postbit and user profile..

Well, yes, I have it installed. But I wanted them to give the chance to choose the country they are talking about. Makes sense for every board with discussions about intl sports for example...

ok then if you are determined, you can upload country flags in your admin cp/post icons sections.. Then they will appear as thread icons too. I guess there might be a hack around to make them pulldown too, if you prefer it
