I was told that no Portals would be publicly released until the RC release of vB.

They said they could be "if" someone choses to due to it is not a hack only an addition.

Myself I will not release mine for I would have to recode it for someone elses forums.

What Filburt mentioned is correct but considering the fact that a carefully coded portal would not require any hacking in vbulletin files, you may request/discusss/release such a version.

However a portal which is not not an add-on and modifies vbulletin files to be installed should not be requested. Thanks for understanding..
