This would be a help to all who need their forums protected from hackers. What I want basicly is a getadmin.php file, but the few times when i was hacked, they deleted my username. This script when uploaded generates a new user, in the administrator usergroup . This would be good for security and reassurance.

Anyone up to trying? thnx in return.

There is already something like this in the extra's folder found in the ZIP you download from the members area

But. with the getadmin.php it makes you an admin, but its not totally reliable. This hack could create a new usergroup with admin capabilities, and cp access.

Protect your forums from being hacked and you won't need something like this. What version are you running? The latest versions of vB should not be hackable.

2.3.2 is the version i have at the moment. I've had previous hacks with 2.3.0 and their was nothing i could do about it. And there's no "preventing" it , because its no premeditated. Anyone help me out?

Turn off html in signatures, posts, etc. It's easy to hack vb when html is enabled.
