How to change table heading colors...
I really didn't get to the answer I was looking for on vB.com. I have vB 3. I'm trying to change the font color of the table headings "Thread, Starter, Replies, Views..."
I received this advice... "This would be found in the FORUMDISPLAY template. ACP >> Style Manager >> Expand Template (<< >>) >> Forum Display Templates (double-click) >> FORUMDISPLAY" However, I'm not sure in the script where the color is implemented as Color tags are not directly used. Do I need to hard code the Color tags in the FORUMDISPLAY? Seems like the color would be something configurable without hard coding. Thanks, rob |

The Table Heading Color, is that what you mean? You can do that via Style Manager - Edit colors etc. and find Table Header and the background color for it and change it there.
Doesn't need to be hard coded. If you need more specific ways of getting there, just ask. |

That's where I orginally thought it was, but I changed it to black (#000000) and it's still white.
Ok, changing the Standard didn't change what I wanted, but the "Normal Link CSS" changed what I wanted. Is there a bug with this by chance? I changed all the Normal, Visited, and Hover from #EEEEFF to #000000 and when I saved it they all went back to #EEEEFF. However, I did it 2nd time and it changed the Normal to #000000, but the other two went back to #EEEEFF. Thank You. |
