Can someone please help me? I now have my vb database installed now into this new server, and now I need to know step-by-step how to get it back online and up and running?
I read the "moved servers" support area and it said to find config.php. I can't find it, where exactly do I look? Well to be frank I have no idea what I'm doing! Can someone please help me! Someone else did all this for me initially, and I have no one to help me anymore! please! |

config.php is found in the admin dir.

Copy your config.php from the admin directory of the previous installation to the new host, along with all other files. However, edit config.php first to reflect the new database username/password (unless it hasn't changed).

Then follow the step in the normal install instructions where you rename config.php.new to config.php and edit its contents.
