Importing a bulletin board
I have imported my 2 phpBB boards into a new install of VBulletin 2.3.0
I imported the first bulletin board perfectly. Then during the second import I had a small problem. I was not given the option to "associate users" with those who were the admin on the second BB. In other words, I have many duplicate accounts on the 2 bulletin boards. I was able to associate users and thus fix any duplicate account problems with all regular users, but with admin and moderators, I ended up with 2 accounts of each. Now I am an admin with 2 admin accounts that I would like to somehow combine into 1 account without losing posting information, and same for my other admin. Is there a hack or a way in VBulletin in which I can take two accounts and turn them into one (and it will automatically change all posts to be done by this one person)? Thank you! |

There are a couple of hacks that seem to relate to this topic. Could you please provide more info about which one will merge users after an import. Thanks.

I don't think that this is the one. This is for merging two vB databases together. I'm merging a non-vB database with a vB database, and afterwards I want to merge duplicate users.
