Anybody hosted with Ventures Online? Any recent troubles?
I seem to be having more than my fair share of problems with them. I was just wondering if anybody else have been experiancing problems with them lately too?
I was considering a move from Ventures Online where I use a shared server that costs 25 bucks a month to racknine.com that seems to be a good deal cheaper, but I'm unsure of their quality of service since I've never heard of them or heard good or bad things about them Any ideas?

Hi,
I have had a couple of 30 day free trials with them recently on their shared servers. The servers were slow with server loads too high for my liking and this was a test site, no users. Their support is excellent and I've heard some great reports about them. IMO I think their service has suffered recently.

i doubt you've had as many problems with you're host as i have with mine, i feel like i'm constantly complaining, i even seem to be banned from their tech support irc channel lmfao, but still the plan was to hold out for a while then move forums nd upgrade to the newest version (hopefully vb3) in time for the summer break, was gonna move to VO and it sucks as i've paid for my existing deal for a year already -_-" but :baffled: not sure if VO's the answer now.

Probably unrelated but my server load spiked to 25 today. I'm using HM. Loads are at the top of http://www.turtletips.com/ ; I wrote a script to color-code it and display a warning icon when things go nuts.

My sites hosted on ventures online and it has been slow. I watched the server load get to 100 once before
 i sent them like 50 support tickets and all they kept saying was it will be fixed soon.

*cough* I don't wanna promote anything or anything, but they are a good host (not VO, I know nothing of VO) and offer good service, good speeds, friendly and knowledgable help for reasonable prices.
