Information hack
I need a hack that gives me information about the user. as much as possible. for instance, "does he have his cookies turned on?" I'm going nuts trying to be everyone tech support when they cant post. I'd like to be able to log into his account and see if he has his computer running correctly. Also if it would hold some cookie info that would be great too.

you can find all that info by going in the admin cp and looking at his/her profile.

The info I'm lookingfor is whether or not cookies are turned on in thier browser not on the user cp options.

here upload this to your vb directory and create a file called cookie.log, then tell the user to go to this page, and just follow the instructions, then check cookie.log to see if they have cookies enabled. this is kind of quickly thrown together, but it works

LOL... I did something similar as a formal hack that is integrated into the forum with standard error messages:
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...threadid=49655 The cookie.php file you uploaded should be renamed to testcookie.php for it to work. I had a similar PHP version, but decided to use something else instead. |
