basically i'm looking for software that will allow me to post articles to more than one page, like if i had an article about sport i could post it on the sports page, but if it was about the site i could post it on the main page and if it was about the net then it would be on the net page, if you get what i mean? do you know if theirs any software that could do this? preferbly php driven?

you can do it with vbhome lite

all you need to do is hard code the forum id in vbhome lits index.php file.

but on vbhl don't it post all articles to the index.php?

but beta forum posts only get pushed to beta.tl

it could work but for me that's more of a last resort i'd really prefer something that didn't involve posting the articles to the forums if that makes sense, especially as i've already got a layout and the article pages are only 6 of a around a 26 page site!

Look into WebTemplates. I believe that will get you what you want. You can post content that has the forum header and footer, and also access some forum functionlity on these pages.

You can protect pages based on usergroups as well.
