forumdisplay
Anyone know if it would be possible to add a "refresh this page" button to forumdisplay.php?? That way people don't have to keep pressing reload and reloading all the images (which take up bandwidth) but instead just re-click back to the page that way all the graphics are still in cache and all that is new is the new threads. Either that, or how to remove some of the graphics from forumdisplay and replace with text links (ie- the post new thread button mainly ... I would probably replace it with a link with glow ... but not sure if glow takes up much bandwidth -- i don't think so, but i'm not sure). thnx

Refreshing by pressing F5 or clicking the button on your browser or by a link on the page will use the same amount of bandwidth.
A majority of the time the browser will used the Cached version anyway. |
