Ok on my forum, when people try 2 use a customer avatar this happens: URL AVATAR - "The uploaded file is not a valid GIF or JPG file. Please ensure that it is and try again." This is a bug that a lot of people have been getting. If it's a fresh install of 2.2.9 then i'd reccomend reporting it over at www.vbulletin.com
If your not running 2.2.9 i'd reccomend upgrading to see if the fix is there - miSt |

I solved it my self!
I Created a folder called temp under the images folder chmod 777 or what ever. Went into the vbulletin options and changed the bit on avatars from /tmp to /images/temp and it worked ![]() |
