yes, i have this email listed on the proper page at vbulletin.com

i have not had problems before and have installed many hacks before.

i logged out and logged back in in case it was a cookie problem. problem still remains.

my license is current.

when i try to access an attachment in a hack thread, it tells me i don't have permission.

please fix this for me.

Try editing and saving your user options again. Also be aware that email address you list on the proper page is case-sensitive.

ok, i would naturally assume that would be the obvious conclusion.

i had checked and made sure from my end all the information is correct.

i tried steve's suggestion on editing my user options before i posted this thread. i also tried it again after he posted that suggestion to be sure.

however, upon triplechecking my information, i discovered that my email address as listed at vbulletin.com had been truncated somehow and the last couple of characters were left off. it wasn't easy to see since my email address exceeded the form field. so i typed in those missing characters and my problem is resolved.

Yep i had the exact same problem. an m missing from the end of my emails.

Seems the system decided to truncate long email addresses
