Say im linking action=getnew to search a certain forum. Ive heard that in this case the sessionhash dosent matter. However I thought that the sessionhash sould be used in all links inside vbulletin?. In this case whitch would be correct and why?
1. search.php?action=getnew&forumid=1 or 2. search.php?s=$session[sessionhash]&action=getnew&forumid=1 |

![]() The sessionhash is a way that PHP can use other than cookies to keep a user logged in. If a user has turned cookies off or is surfing behind a proxy, sessionhash can keep the user logged in. However, if you make all your users turn cookies on, and they are not behind a proxy, then you don't need sessionhash. @ Arunan: Delete all your cookies in your browser, make sure cookies are on, and log in again. That should fix it. |
