I want to have a floodcheck for guests to be set to 5 minutes or what not, as I would prefer to not floodcheck only the areas they are allowed to post in. I found one topic about this but it was for version 2.1.1 so I thought I'd ask again for a new version.

Have you tried this hack, most of the time hacks for 2.2.1 would also work for 2.2.8

No, I didn't. The one I was looking at seemed quite complicated just to have a floodcheck for one usergroup..
