Default Post Nuke and vBulletin

Has anyone gotten vB integrated with PostNuke yet?

I have seached everywhere in these forums...saw a few posts that says they did it but no one has shared it.

Thank you for any and all help.

I have vBulletin almost 100% integrated into Post Nuke now.

One problem I'm having is the way vB stores avatars.

Can someone tell me where the avatars are stored please?

Thanks!

Brewskie

Depends if you are talking about custom avatars or avatars you ahve provided.

Custom avatars are stored in the customavatar table. Details of avatars you have provided are in the avatar table.

hello

i do not use postnuke but i use great Phpnuke and i integrate version 6 with vbulletin 2.2.8 in user registeration
ofcourse i get the help from w4u that integrate phpnuke 5.5 with vbulletin 2.2.5

what i hope to have is full vbulletin integration with php nuke as full module

i do know why a lot of php coder and programmer do not under stand that when they offer product ex.vbulletin ,they do not offer same version integrated as full module at phpnuke

because there is more than 10000 users use this product
also now some hosting company offers phpnuke installation as one click for fee

i hope guys here understand that they will have more customers when they offers full module phpnuke integrations

thanks

vB are not going to offer integration with PHP Nuke, or any other system than the one they will be selling when vB3 has been released.

This is probably true...That's one of the reasons why I went ahead and hacked vB myself.

I have successfully integrated vBulletin into Post Nuke .... nearly 100% integration...WooT!

I even have it set up where users who are waiting on the confirmation email still can't post and things in PN untill they click the link in their confirmation email.

To top it off....It's all multi-sites as well

The customavatar table only holds a couple bits of info...including the file name....not not where the avatar is physically located.

And the avatar table is empty.

There has to be a place where the paths to avatars are located...

This is pretty much the last piece of the puzzle for vB to be 100% integrated....

Thanks for your help!

Custom avatars are stored in the DB, they are in the filedata column of the customavatar table.

You can use the getavatarurl function in admin/functions.php to find the URL to users avatars.

Let me get this straight ....

The customavatar table physically holds the image?
