I have seen several different methods of doing this over the past year. Can you folks provide me input as to which one has proven to be the best? A link the the required modifications would be nice too.

I was also looking for the highlight on mouse-over hack as welll.

Worked great, thanks! Question though... my site isn't open yet... so the amount of posts and threads are in the single digits. When the amout goes up (double and triple digits), will the columns not align with each other?

Some of them won't but it isn't a major cosmetic disability... It look quite normal

And a lot of the time it doesn't make any difference at all
