Image uploading and thumbnail generation with PHP...

Anyone know any good source I could learn about this topic.

I want to create a riders ride section or gallery and allow my forum memebers to upload pictures of their cars and have php display a thumbnail.

I have a screenshot gallery system I personally made for my site, but that's about it.

Buy a PHP book, or maybe visit sitepoint.com and look for some tutorials. With the basic PHP/MySQL knowledge it's not that hard.

well i already know basic php, I'm runnign it on all my sites, but none of my damn books have anythign about thumbnail generation, grrrr, thanx though
