Hai there,

Can someone help me with how to remove the spave between the quote text and the new text? See snapshot!

So the space between the lower line and the text 'Test'

Plz help.....

looks like a phpbb to me

but it seems that perphaps theres an extra <br> in the template somewhere... other then that im not sure

Where do they add the lines a top and below the quoted text???

maybe check the vbcode for the creation of the quote tags in the admin cp... maybe they'll have the change that you're looking for... regards...

There is the replacement code for the tag but no extra spaces....

In newreply.php stands
$pagetext = preg_replace("/(\[quote])(.*)(\[\/quote])/siU", "", $pagetext);

Has this something to do with it??? some extra space in this code?

no its not this i don't believe... rather does phpbb use bbcodes or something similiar? regards...
