Default I Don't Like Vbportal
Who doesn't like it?!

i don't :'( :'(
After 1 full damn week of modification to my board, its all gone

I uploaded default.sttyle, and its all gone it worked fine..but to make it work with my main style, I used TBS and didn't release I checked EDITED STUFF..AND WAHHHH, ITS ALL GONE

If it wasn't for vbportal, i wouldn't have had to upload the style, or back up template, and import :'(

Drky, I dont particularly like it either, i dont see the point in making my vbulletin look like a website when its not a website. Im happy with the way it looks just now, Vbportal and all the other index hacks are confusing if you ask me, There is no forseeable way to access the actual FORUMS from Vbulletin.org unless i click one of the threads and go back to the main page. I am happy with the welcome panel hack {thanks trilobyte} and my plain old vb

I really don't see what the problem was. If you've made a backup before you did work, then what's the problem?

Also, you figure it's vbPortals fault that you had problems? I very seriously doubt it had anything to do with vbPortal. I've installed many, many instances of vbPortal and have never heard anyone say "IT'S ALL GONE".

What does that mean anyway?

im going to give this VbPortal a whir and see if its worth it, i didnt like the last Portal type Vb hack i used.

One thing I tell all new users to vbPortal. FOLLOW ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS EXACTLY!

Search the boards and read the FAQ as well. I'm pretty sure all bugs have been identified and solutions are available on the site.

I had vBPortal running for over 6 months - now that my site is getting over 150 users online at once, it really put a strain on the server. Since I took vBPortal off, the site's been great. Just something to consider...
